Tesco's Delivery

I've got a delivery booked for next Tuesday- if I add items and go through checkout to confirm changes will I lose my slot? I'm sure I've read on here it has happened to people, and we really need this shop!

It was ok when I did that on Friday.

Meercat2 · 24/03/2020 07:19

No you don't! I've just done the same and checked out fine

I change my order about 90 times before it arrives, pandemic or not, and it arrives just fine.

I change mine even more lately, but there is one catch of course. It removes items that are not in stock now even though they might be back in stock on the day of your delivery. I wish it wouldn't do that.

I've heard stories about losing the order but I find it hard to believe. When you're checking out right up until the last click you can still change your mind and not checkout after all. it hasn't changed anything yet. So it ought to be pretty foolproof.

I got a delivery yesterday morning and was still changing it Sunday night. Almost everything was there, or there was an acceptable substitute (except for the bread flour). I also have an ocado slot booked for Saturday and I think they'll be ok to make changes too, it'll just take me ages to log in..!

I've had a slot booked on Friday for ages which is good as site showing no slots for at least 2.5 weeks after that.

I'm having to add things every day because things are being removed by Tesco every day as not available. Currently no pasta, eggs etc.
