How does this affect the self employed who need to work and won't get enough support from the government i.e universal credit

Not before time!

It's well and truly needed but there was no mention of how people would be able to live ie no money if not im work

Other countries have managed it. Some with no benefit system.

Well personally we will be stuffed!!

There is something going through Parliament for self-employed/freelancers. Hold fire before panicking too much, things may be ok.
