Can I get a refund from Easyjet?

Or will I need to go through my insurance? I only needed to travel for a particular date so have no need to re book for another date later in the year.

The voucher is only valid for 6 months though. There is no guarantee flights will be back to normal by then.
I'm disgusted by how they've tried to wriggle their way out of saying they can't or won't pay refund.

KLM's policy is that you can apply for a voucher or rebook flight. BUT they say the voucher is refundable if not used after a year.
