Not sure if this has been done recently? I just had a look and couldnt see anything sorry if i missed one!

I was inspired by chat on a thread 😊

So for me:
With the nice weather i have been hanging out the washing so not only have i got on top of it bur it smells nice

My toddler is finally into Disney!! (I love Disney 😊) so we are still slowly going through the films (we watch each about four times a day 🤦‍♀️) but its better than hey dugee/bing etc so i will take it!

We are slowly organising the house so it looks tidier than it has in months!

I found two series that i have been wanting to rewatch for ages on 5on demand (or what ever its called) so im slowly making my through them

Anyone else?

What a lovely gift PolishWombat and what a pretty neighbour you have Terralee .

MrsDoylesTeaBags · 23/03/2020 18:14

Yeah its not great Waddimiss but they've spread our desks out, and we're deep cleaning our workstations a couple of times a day and parents with school children have the option to WFH.

We're playing it by ear at the moment, things seem to be changing by the day.

That we have the most adorable little pair of robins nesting in a bush in our garden.

That despite the chaos, ds's school have seriously pulled it out of the bag and I have a great deal more respect for his teachers than I did before (and I already thought they were actually pretty good).

That despite the fact that they don't get on, my mum (a nurse) has called mil (who has copd) and finally convinced her to stay in and not go to work (customer facing in a bakery). So now dp is just that little bit less stressed and worried.

That I actually managed to get 90% of my normal weekly shop today despite the idiots who are still panic buying pasta and bog roll.

The village chippy is going to start delivering! Deep fried haggis to the doorstep!

WaddiMiss · 23/03/2020 18:48

Awww that is so lovely Polish! I hope you and your family are ok.

MrsDoyles i hope you get to work from home soon! At least they have taken some measures to protect you.

Deep fried haggis? I have never heard of it!

DS is actually very happy. He doesn't like school.

I'm learning new ways to keep fit.

I used to spend ages meal planning. Now I can't go to the shops, it's much simpler.

WaddiMiss up here beyond the Wall it's sausage shaped and battered. All good chippies carry it.

namechangenumber2 · 23/03/2020 18:57

The sun ☀️- makes a huge difference to my mental health so I'm ever grateful it's appeared now !

I was going to start this thread, if I hadn't found it first Smile

I found a ladybird today.

Yesterday I saw long-tailed tits in the garden for the first time (they were dive-bombing the cobwebs round the outside of my filthy windows).

I had to crawl on all fours into my husband's office this morning to avoid featuring in his video conference call with work.

My children didn't argue today, for the first time in 10 years (youngest is 10) - hope the novelty of home-schooling doesn't wear off too quickly.

WaddiMiss · 23/03/2020 21:17

Disgrace that sounds brilliant! One day i will make it to Scotland and try it!

Hipper the thought of someone crawling one their hands and knees made me laugh! Sorry! 😂

So im feeling a little wobbly after that announcement (not sure why i kept telling husband that i thought it would happen by the end of the week!)

So cheerful thoughts:

I stocked up on chocolate (sod toilet paper)

I have an exercise bike and a garden

So far my family and friends have not been affected

I have a number of books to read (probably she skip goodnight mr tom)

My gorgeous toddler is blissfully unaware and im glad for his innocence

WaddiMiss - it made me laugh too. Reminded me of this guy.

WaddiMiss · 23/03/2020 22:33
