A bit lighthearted in these distressing times. If you were starting a diet tomorrow, what would you eat tonight if you could have anything?

I would have...

Starter - Prawns any style except with that awful seafood dressing.

Mains - Fillet steak, medium with baked potatoes with lashings of butter and grilled vegetables with balsamic and olive oil dressing. With a side green salad.

Dessert - Difficult to choose. A baked NY style cheesecake with strawberry sauce or the banana pudding from Magnolia's bakery in NYC.

What would you have?

Starter, breaded mushrooms with garlic dip
Main, battered cod with chips and garden peas
Dessert, profiteroles with fresh cream
Drink, Pol Roger
😁

Starter: some kind of cheese soufflé type thing, with champagne to drink
Main: a massive roast, with every type of trimming available, and a bottle of red wine
Dessert: a flourless dark chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and ice cream. With some kind of delicious dessert wine

Then a cheese course.

Then dark chocolate truffles.

I forgot my drink. I nice bottle of cabernet to wash it all down.

Ooh, that cheese plate sounds nice.
