I'm resisting the temptation to post on the CV threads, but I'm doing a lot of reporting. I should get off MN though, it's "I'm holier than thou" and "some people are selfish arseholes" on steroids.

I'm on mn a lot lot less. It sends me mentally to places I don't want to go. I'm trying to stay upbeat in my self isolating bubble

There are a lot of 'experts' about CV on here.

From what I've seen today, people who don't understand sarcasm or satire and who can't even be bothered to read through threads to clarify their understanding, despite the fact they're hardly likely to have a busy social calendar at present.

I’m finding I’m on it less, as I used to use it mainly for light relief, but now there’s less threads I want to click on.

I have been mainly posting on the CV threads (clue is in the nickname).

Normally I lurk elsewhere.

So more posting and less interesting threads to lurk on, which I am missing.

The CV area is getting a bit tedious though I think. There’s only a limited number of types of thread going now really.

For now anyway.

Mostly threads which should be in the CV topic. Replies which are unduly holier than thou, such as "so your beach body is more important than someone's life".

I can't bear to read the CV topic, but does the phrase "selfish arseholes" appear in every thread?

I'm actively trying to avoid it more than usual - allowing myself 20 minutes each evening.

I'm on it more, but I'm in Italy and once my online lessons are done, it's either clean that cupboard out or be on MN.

Only on the Covid threads though really.
