Had a tearful start at finding out the national trust had closed our local parkland, as that's been my main "lifeline" for getting my 2 toddlers out the house. Then I spoke to my mum and bucked up a bit and counted my blessings that we have a (small) garden and our health. Read my book in the sun while DC played and DP cleaned the house. Took a nap in the afternoon. Had a lovely handmade card from the kids. Takeaway pizza and a film for dinner. Lovely day, all things considered.

I tidied out my shed.
I bought myself a plant.

They'd forgotten about it. Then remembered so used the blank but beautiful cards I'd bought for friends events next week. So I bought my own cards and have to buy more. I will laugh about this tomorrow. But tonight I am unreasonably abit sad.

Same thing I do every Sunday, got up, had breakfast, ironed, me and Mum did dinner 50/50, sorted the kids out..... then played some PlayStation 😊

My baby son passed away in February. So husband made me breakfast and we sat by our sons resting place and spoke to him. I had a cry in the afternoon and then watched a movie in the evening. A rollercoaster of a day

If this wasn't happening then my dh would have been at work from 8 until 5ish (he swapped his shift so he was working in the morning instead of the evening), then when he got home and had showered I would have been given my cards and presents (he always gets me something), then he would have cooked dinner for me. Then usual evening routine of ds bathed and in bed, tidy up and sit down.
As he couldn't go to work he was here all day so I got breakfast as well, and cards and presents earlier in the day. The rest was the same.
He doesn't speak to his mum and I'm completely non contact with my so called mum (with very good reasons) so nothing else to do in that respect.
