What are your tips for getting over an infatuation?

Currently infatuated with my manager at work. It's wrong, he has a girlfriend, there's no way I would ever get in the way of someone's relationship.

I've tried my best now to just squash the feelings but it's not working. I'm in quite a vulnerable place emotionally and this is really causing me extra pain. I've had a few other (more suitable) men show interest in me and all I can think about is my manager, it's pathetic.

Please could you give me your practical tips for how you make yourself lose interest in someone? Trying to currently focus on all his flaws but tbh I'm struggling to find many.

I don't know but following with interest as in a similar situation.

I think for me it's not easy because he appears to be reciprocating, starting chats and continuing for most of the day. We even said good night to each other a few nights ago. I work with him too so it's dangerous territory. I've had some awful thoughts about him Today how I'm I going to look him in the eye when I see him!?

Completely relate @BlackCatFan. For me at least, I'm sure I'm probably reading more into his behaviour than is really there. It's hard isn't it!
