First time today having a coffee out the front and then a few glasses of wine out the back in this beautiful sunshine. Anyone else?

Ive been for a 10 mile walk, cup of tea and cake in the garden and now having a glass of wine.

Oh and we’ve started lambing. Great day in this doom and gloom.

Stunning spring day.

I've spent the afternoon gardening it's lovely out.

Flymetothetoon · 22/03/2020 18:59

It's wonderful to appreciate nature and the hope that spring brings to us all 🤗

I think that's been the best weather since the kids broke up for school last July. We've finally unfolded the trampoline after our holiday last August as it was too soggy to be worth it from that point.

We've had a (appropriately spaced) run at the park and the DCs have had a good play in the garden. I made it out for a solo run, a novelty on a Sunday!

It really was a beautiful day and it's supposed to be even nicer tomorrow.

We walked the dogs in our local park across the road, which was nice and empty-ish.

pitlochrypat · 22/03/2020 19:12

It's was a rare day up here when laundry could be hung out!

PurpleCrazyHorse · 22/03/2020 19:14

We spent Saturday tidying up the garden, mowing the lawn etc so the kids can make the most of the nicer weather this week (especially as we're self-isolating). Also been able to get the washing out to dry which is also lovely.

PontiacBandit · 22/03/2020 19:16

It's been lovely having the kids play in the garden. I've been gardening, I'm a proper newbie to it but I'm enjoying it.

ShirleyPhallus · 22/03/2020 19:17

Absolutely beautiful. It’s the first time I’ve felt like things might be all ok, it really makes such a difference to my mental health just to get outside for a few hours.

Did a lovely walk then spent the afternoon in my back garden with a book. Lovely.

WorraLiberty · 22/03/2020 19:19

The clocks go forward next weekend, so hopefully the lighter evenings might make everyone feel a tiny bit better.

Flymetothetoon · 22/03/2020 20:01

Today I've properly not thought about the C word and have focused on the warmth of the sun and getting the garden tidy.

This week weather forecast is dry and sunny all week so that's beds stripped, washed and outside to dry - nothing smells better than line dried sheets 😊

Don't have a garden (central London) its been a very stark reminder about how hard our lives are about to become.

Flymetothetoon · 22/03/2020 20:22

I'm so sorry @Crunchymum my post may seem insensitive but I honestly wanted to give a huge hurrah to the spring sunshine ☀️

Bittersweet. Lovely day but just as the weather gets nice enough for children and their friends to play out after being stuck in all winter, they can't Sad.

Crunchymum · 22/03/2020 20:24

I'm happy for sunshine. Sad we wont be able to enjoy it.

Didn't mean to kill everyone's buzz !!

BlueGheko · 22/03/2020 20:24

Sorry didn't mean to rain on your sunshine, it really was a lovely day 🌞

Flymetothetoon · 22/03/2020 20:47

@Crunchymum and @Bluegecko Thanks
