So what would you make from a pack of chicken breasts, a tin of pineapple slices and fresh chilli peppers? You have the basic food cupboard staples. You must use all ingredients

I would make a chicken and pineapple chillie 😀

Or a chicken chillie and a pineapple upside down cake

Foghead · 22/03/2020 01:56

Or

Round two, sorry @Foghead you are out for being indecisive. You now have a large red pepper, lamb chops and some raspberries

Empanadas filled with the lamb and peppers and a dipping sauce made from the raspberries.

Getting an overwhelming urge to go and make pastry when I really should be going to bed.

Wincarnis · 22/03/2020 03:49

Lamb jalfrezi followed by Raspberry granita

AdaColeman · 22/03/2020 04:05

Bumping

Mumdiva99 · 23/03/2020 13:48

Lamb chops shouldn't be messed with. But a nice pepper chutney on the side - with a little of yesterday's left over chilli to give it a kick. Raspberries are just delicious on their own - or add to a spoonful of porridge oats and some plain yoghurt for a scrummy dessert. (Any flavour yoghurt works).

BarbaraofSeville · 23/03/2020 13:54

First one - spicy chicken and pineapple fried rice.

Second one marinated lamb and pepper traybake - a deconstructed kebab sort of thing. Raspberries for dessert or with breakfast porridge/muesli.

Thepigeonsarecoming · 24/03/2020 02:30

I did actually make sweet and sour chicken today (maybe I was using my fridge/cupboard contents for inspiration) but thank you!

Feel free to add your own round three ingredients from your own fridge :)

Can a vegan play? I pick french beans, tofu block (firm) and kiwi fruit! Disregard if not!

AdaColeman · 24/03/2020 06:16

Round 3
Starter: Green beans two ways, in a vinaigrette dressing with flaked almonds and á la Greque with tomatoes & garlic.
Main: Crispy fried tofu with honey & sesame seeds served with noodles.
Pudding: Kiwi fruit & pineapple (left over from previous round) fruit salad with a citrus dressing served with Swedish Glacé (if available).
