Anyone planning on getting this? It's hard to find a list of what they'll have but DW wants it for the Star Wars. DS wants it for National Geographic.

I'm assuming it'll run similarly to Netflix?

I've preordered it, sharing a subscription with my sister so makes it £25 a year each.

Considering that's a cost of a takeaway, even if it's only used sparingly it's worth it!

QueenofallIsee · 20/03/2020 20:05

I’ve ordered it - £50 for the year with 7 of our offspring (step and bio) of various ages in isolation with us, I’m hoping it will please the littles and the older! I also want to see the latest Star Wars to be honest

TrashPanda · 20/03/2020 20:09

Yeah we've pre-ordered it. Love me a Disney movie and with 10, 5 & 2 year olds now off school/nursery and me having to work from home as much as I can whilst looking after them, i'm hoping it will be worth it. DP is excited to introduce the eldest to the delights of Star Wars and trying to work out the best order to watch Marvel universe in. We already have Netflix and Prime.

We’ll definitely be getting this. We have dc age 7 and 4 and I think it’ll be well used.

Someonesayroadtrip · 20/03/2020 21:26

Pre-ordered here too.

Ribeebie · 20/03/2020 21:34

We preordered and if you do it with TopCashback you get 15 pound back, so works out as costing £35 for the year.

Housewife2010 · 20/03/2020 21:37

I can't find a link for it on Topcashback.

Theonewiththecat · 20/03/2020 21:38

We preordered it last month.
Dd is excited as all 1 million series of the Simpsons will be on there.
Dp just wanted it to watch the mandalorian or whatever it's called 🤔

Fespital · 20/03/2020 21:49

Oooh more info on Topcashback deal please!

Absoluteunit · 20/03/2020 21:58

Stupid question but is this something we can use on a tablet/laptop or is it only Sky or smart TVs? Thanks

QueenofallIsee · 20/03/2020 22:28

It’s a app so smart TVs and tablets etc

QueenofallIsee · 20/03/2020 22:28

Like Netflix is

Marmite27 · 20/03/2020 22:30

Pre ordered it, I got a bonus this month that was more than anticipated.

I’m hoping I’ve not buggered up and can sign on through sky q after buying it directly.

Marmite27 · 20/03/2020 22:31

Someone was moaning about the cash back being taken down earlier, so don’t think it’s valid anymore.

Ifihadapoundd · 20/03/2020 22:39

Is this paid all at once or monthly?

Fuss · 20/03/2020 22:48

It’s worth it for the mandalorian alone.
The best piece of star wars I've sends since return of the Jedi.

Waspie · 20/03/2020 23:03

We've ordered it mainly for the final series of The Clone Wars but also for The Mandalorian

TerrorWig · 20/03/2020 23:53

@Ifihadapoundd you can pay annually or monthly.

I’ve pre-ordered. We’ve already almost exhausted Prime and Netflix. Plus I want to watch all The Simpsons.

Ifihadapoundd · 21/03/2020 09:46

@TerrorWig thank you! Another question sorry! I have looked online and Connor see anywhere, can you cancel it at anytime

TerrorWig · 21/03/2020 13:32

I’m not sure but I can’t imagine you won’t be able to if you’re paying monthly.

TerrorWig · 21/03/2020 13:35

If you google ‘can I cancel Disney + at any time’ there’s loads of articles. You can, but depending on how you signed up might depend on how you do it.

I suspect they won’t offer partial refunds of the annual fee.

UnitedRoad · 21/03/2020 20:29

I’ve just ordered it, but can’t find the app. What am I doing wrong? Will it be available when the service goes live on the 24th?

TerrorWig · 21/03/2020 22:46

Yeah you have to wait till it’s live.

Luunaa · 22/03/2020 12:38

We will see what happens on the 24th! They couldn't possibly have anticipated but I bet their sales are going to go through the roof thanks to quarantine.

NeutralJanet · 22/03/2020 12:40

I've pre ordered it. I hope the new Mulan is streaming on it, DD is desperate to see it but obviously it won't be possible to go to the cinema any time soon.
