I’ve had a lousy cold since Tuesday. I’m not bunged up but nose leaking like a tap. Throat was sore but eased off now. Absolutely no cough/high temp/respiratory issues just to be clear.
Last night my ears popped. First one then the other. It was like a sharp stabby pain with feeling like I’m in an echo chamber. Today I can’t hear well at all. I’m still in pain and my balance isn’t great. If I bend down it’s excruciating.
Pharmacist at work kindly took a look and said they were very red but no sign of infection.
I’ve taken painkillers, decongestant ( sudafed sinus from behind the pharmacy counter) and an antihistamine in desperation.
Is there anything I can do to relieve the pressure and the pain? Do I need to bother the Drs at a time like this?
Any and all advice very greatly received.
