I didn't realise it was happening, but radio stations in 30 countries played YNWA at the same time in solidarity at this crisis this morning, BBC clip here

I wonder if they will be doing this on the regular. I think it would be nice to feel that there was a sense of community, even when we are shut inside.

I heard this as well, it was lovely actually. Small acts of solidarity like this may well keep us all going.

Howmanysleepsnow · 20/03/2020 20:28

I opened the back door, pointed the radio out and sang along... bit embarrassed that no one else seemed to though!

Didn't hear this 'live' but as a lifelong Liverpool FC fan, this makes my 💓 swell.

MintySpud · 20/03/2020 21:09

That would not go down well in these parts.😂

Horsemad · 20/03/2020 21:12

Grin you a Manc @MintySpud? 😉

Prestonsouthend · 20/03/2020 21:18

If there is one song to piss everyone off that is it.

MintySpud · 20/03/2020 21:20

A bit further south.

But asking all Europeans to sing "We are the Luton and we are the best" is unrealistic, granted.😂

Pinkpeone1 · 20/03/2020 22:01

We need more of this !!!

Meckity1 · 20/03/2020 22:41

I just thought it was a great idea, just for everyone to sort of be aware that we are all in this.

It would be great if it was a regular thing while the crisis goes on.

I hate that effing song. I'd even prefer "Jerusalem" which at least acknowledges the conditions majority had to work under.
