London in June

I r amuse this isn't the most pressing issue under the circumstances but we are booked to visit London at the end of June - should we just cancel now or is there a chance we'll be back to normal(ish) by then?

All the scientists are saying that there’s no way to predict how long it’s going to take. We’ve got theatre tickets for August and were planning to make a weekend of it. I won’t be booking the hotel just yet.

Maybe give your hotel a ring and see if they’d be willing to let you amend your dates for later in the year.

Thanks. It's an air b&b so I've got a bit of time to decide. All very uncertain. Hope your trip goes ahead.

I'd only go to London in a hazmat suit for the foreseeable.

I'm inclined to agree. I still need to pay the bloody service charge if I cancel. Will leave it for a bit and see.

June WILL be part of the peak and we do know that much.

What we don't know is whether August or September will be clearer. I would not be expecting anything booked for June to be happening.
