I'm seeing Facebook ads for new Spring fashion. What a disaster for those retailers. First, they had to diversify production away from China, now they can't sell it on the high street. I doubt many will buy to wear in their homes. Topshop started 30% off everything online today. If London goes into lockdown, and the rest of the UK later, I don't know if their couriers will still function anyway.
Clothes aren't a big deal themselves, but how many retailers will still be around when it's all over. So many jobs at stake.
