Bearing in mind, I'm very unfit, a bit too fat and have crap joints.

yoga? I do yoga with Adrienne on prime if you have it. Probably similar on YouTube. I used to do 30 day shred on YouTube but you’ll need to do some of the modifications if you have bad joints. There was also quite a fun boxercise one that was great for bad joints as it was completely low impact but I can’t remember what it was called, sorry.

drspouse · 18/03/2020 10:40

It's on Youtube, I'm a huge fan.

I'd love to find out about the boxercise if anyone can remember.

Cocolapew · 18/03/2020 10:43

Oh I have Prime, thanks.
I used to do Pilatesages ago, I had the Darcy Bushell video Grin. I could maybe do that.
I'm self isolating and don't want to get any fatter Blush

The Lucy Wyndham-Read videos on YouTube are really good. They are walking on the spot ones with other exercises (squats etc) added in every 30 seconds. I’m quite unfit and find them really helpful

Cocolapew · 18/03/2020 11:14

Thanks Caramel I'll check them out.

Anything similar, but good for children.
? Want something for isolated children 3-8

I love Yoga With Adriene on Youtube. My suggestion would be to follow her 30 day programme called Home.
But there are hundreds and hundreds of other videos to choose from.

chickadeee · 18/03/2020 22:28

Yes! The down dog app is currently free. It has yoga for all levels, and has a 7 minute hiit workout app for free too.

Sylvanuswindrunner · 18/03/2020 22:31

Lots of yoga on youtube. Lucyoga is good. Cosmic yoga great for kids.

Hazelnutlatteplease · 18/03/2020 22:31

Not yoga with dodgy joints, very bad to over stretch them. Pilates is better

Otherwise fitness blender do "low impact" exercise routines on their (free) you tube channel.

If you want something a bit more challenging and are ok with knee push ups zumba strong DVD do a really well thought out, no jumping, shoulder considerate, joint friendly option running through the DVD. Although i noticed it seems harder to get hold off atm

Cocolapew · 18/03/2020 22:45

JaneCope I saw something about children's ones earlier but now can't remember where (helpful me)

Fitness Blender on You Tube is great! You could try to start with low impact exercise. They have hundreds of videos so you can mix it up.

violetgrey · 21/03/2020 09:18

Oh sorry, just seen Hazelnutlatteplease already recommended them.

Hazelnutlatteplease · 21/03/2020 09:37

@violetgrey worth the recommendation twice!!
