What happened to ‘Be Kind’?

Last month everyone was using ‘Be Kind’ as kind of mantra and this month it’s the opposite. Some of the behaviour I’ve seen from others in recent weeks is shocking and there have been some really unkind comments on here too

people are loving getting frothed up at the mythical “panic buyers

I wish they were bloody mythical. Not sure where you are, but the shelves are bare here, a neighbour is boasting about having stockpiled enough toilet roll for a whole village, and meanwhile there is no paracetamol to be found for a person in my family who desperately needs it. Very little kindness round here.

People are getting so snappy and unpleasant on here, I've been surprised.

I've had a card from #viralkindness about doing shopping, posting letters, getting medical if you're self isolating due to coronavirus, hope it reaches someone in need if they're doing all local streets.

I have always tried to be kind, unless you make it on to my 'list', my list is growing daily at the moment.

It was bull shit anyway, no one actually changed behaviour. The people genuinely being kind don't feel the need to advertise it.

The social media storm died down so people stopped jumping on the bandwagon.
