Temperature differences

Hello,

I took my temp on my ear thermometer and it said 38. I then took it again 10mins later and it says 37.5. 10 mins later and it says 37.5 again.

Do I go off the first reading or is that a blip if my temp is now consistently down

(Sorry if in wrong subject, my phone doesn't let me post anywhere else)

I think just take an average reading. It's important with ear thermometers that they are correctly placed in the ear, so maybe check the instructions.
