Yep red :)

What country has the biggest population of trees?

OP posts:
HarveySchlumpfenburger · 19/03/2020 01:53

Russia

Thepigeonsarecoming · 19/03/2020 01:56

Grats Rafals. Next what’s the biggest mammal in the world?

OP posts:
HarrietThePi · 19/03/2020 01:59

Is it a whale? Blue whale?

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 19/03/2020 01:59

Blue Whale is the answer that will set the QI klaxon off, right?
Grin

Thepigeonsarecoming · 19/03/2020 02:00

Yep Blue Whale, I would continue but I’m off to read the threads now :)

How many countries do you travel through if you want to go overland from Norway to a China ?

Tuliptulip · 19/03/2020 02:34

One - Russia

PawPawNoodle · 19/03/2020 02:34

Ooh I want to play!

@fsmmum no other countries! a bit at the top of Norway is attached to Russia

My question: What year were kinder eggs first introduced to the market in their native country, Italy?

fsmmum · 19/03/2020 02:36

Well done Smile

Thepigeonsarecoming · 19/03/2020 03:07

What’s the highest mountain in the world?

OP posts:
FelicityBeedle · 19/03/2020 03:18

Mauna Kea or Everest, depends who you ask

Thepigeonsarecoming · 19/03/2020 03:22

Would you rather have ears like an elephant or a trunk like an elephant (changing things up)

OP posts:
PawPawNoodle · 19/03/2020 03:45

Trunk like an elephant - their trunks are incredibly dexterous and sensitive to both smell and feel. It'd be helpful to have an appendage that could carry stuff for me!

@fsmmum thank you! Funnily enough the reason I know this is from an actual pub quiz asking which countries border Norway (got it wrong at the time, remembered it forever!)

No one answered my kinder surprise question, take a guess! This was a sudden death question for me at a recent quiz (I honestly don't do many...!) and we were the only team to get it right, completely on a punt!

Or, if you like, a weirder question: would you rather lose the ability to lie in all aspects, including omission and bending the truth, or unreservedly believe everything you're told without ever knowing you'd been lied to?

sashh · 19/03/2020 03:52

What the closest plant to the sun?

That's actually a trick / QI question because it depends on the orbit of the planets, it's very rare they line up in order.

Which single country has the largest area of permanent snow? Note the snow has to be both permanent and in one country so that rules out the Alps.

PawPawNoodle · 19/03/2020 04:13

@sashh is it Greenland? Is that too obvious?

sashh · 19/03/2020 04:20

Far too obvious, and I'm still irked you confused the cafe with a job centre.

Thepigeonsarecoming · 19/03/2020 04:24

Yep it’s a trick question, not that I had a glass of wine and mistyped plant and planet 😂

OP posts:
Thepigeonsarecoming · 19/03/2020 04:26

I give up on normal questions, you’re too clever for me 😄

OP posts:
Taddda · 19/03/2020 04:30

@PolPotNoodle I'd much rather loose the ability to lie! No question!

It would take one idiot to tell me I could fly......Shock

PawPawNoodle · 19/03/2020 04:32

@sashh it's going to be somewhere that'll annoy me like a nation in Africa or some mountainous country that you don't think about, isn't it?

Apologies for the misunderstanding, I've had a few rums.

Thepigeonsarecoming · 19/03/2020 04:33

Happy to hand this thread over to anyone with questions/facts, I’ll try to answer some in the future :)

OP posts:
sashh · 19/03/2020 05:31

@PolPotNoodle

It's also the country with the most wild camels (or was until recently, recent events may have changed that)

pickledchocolate · 19/03/2020 22:39

Australia

sashh · 20/03/2020 02:37

Well done @pickledchocolate

I thought I had killed the thread.
