Just today realised my guinea pigs are utter liars.
They aren’t excited to see me when I stop to chat they just know that if they run out and do the meerkat stance I will succumb to their adorableness and feed them parsley and fill up their hay (which is always full anyway!).
I have been trained to respond to their running towards me with their fake happiness. Con artists!
