Random things you are wondering about

Aside from all the big worries, what smaller things are bothering you? I wonder whether parking restrictions will still be enforced in the event of us all self isolating. My street has restrictions between 8:30 and 5:30 and has nowhere near enough spaces for everyone to park legally during the day. This isn't usually a big problem as many people drive to work, but if we were all staying in except for key workers it could be problematic.
I've also been wondering about what to do with our library books. Surely going to the library to return them counts as unnecessary social contact, but if this lasts a while we might reach the limit for renewals.

I've been wondering if they'll cancel my 20 week scan next week or if I'll be able to get an appointment for whooping cough vaccination, neither are very big deals as I had a private scan 2 weeks ago and I've had a flu jab and know I can get the vaccination later on. Wondering how on earth I will keep my wild DS entertained if it turns out we need to isolate , it's like having a puppy - he needs to be fed, watered and taken on plenty of walks.

I wonder if I should knock on my neighbours door and ask if she needs anything from the shops whilst I'm out although she's older she's in no way unable so wouldn't want to insult her as she's very independent.

All little wonders that I'm having.

I'm wondering why LIDL had almost run out of chewing gum. It's not like it has any nutritional value or you are able to wipe your bum with it. Confused

Kpo58 that made me laugh, this situation really does make me read into everything more than usual.

I'm wondering where the homeless in my city have gone.
I'm wondering if that really was the four horsemen of the apocalypse I saw over the sea today.
I'm wondering when Bojo is going to pull his head out of his arse.

I'm in Spain, panic is starting to grip Confused

I'm uncertain whether to offer help to neighbours we don't know. I am comfortable asking next door neighbours I have met but don't know how strangers would react.

I’m wondering if we are allowed to meet in small groups (4 or 5) with family members who do not live with us.

I am wondering why so many people are in the grip of a panic - get a backbone please. Do you know we have a population of around 67 million and of that number a just over a 1000 have got ill. Seriously I have more chance of being hit by a bus. Calm down. Perhaps the government should put anxiety tablets in the water supply? And people why kids today are depressed and anxious- with adults like that is it surprising?!

I'm wondering if I'll ever get my test results from the hospital. I imagine they are overrun and I don't want to bother them - but I had PET scan and biopsy around 9 days ago and I'm desperate to know the outcome.

I'm trying to be positive and believe no news is good news

YesILikeItToo · 17/03/2020 09:40

I’m wondering whether the responsible thing to do is to invite soon-to-be ExH’s girlfriend to move in with him upstairs.

sueelleker · 17/03/2020 14:41

I've just had an email from West Sussex Library to say that they're automatically renewing all books until further notice.

sueelleker · 17/03/2020 14:43

And I'm wondering how long before my next door neighbour, a notorious "borrower" comes knocking on our door.
