Just had a random bleed, wouldnt say it was heavy, noticed when i wiped going to the toilet. Shouldnt be period as not due on until beginning of April. Ive got a smear booked Wednesday anyway but online just says cancer lots of times😖 appears to have stopped now and dont think ive had this before

Go for your smear as usual and tell them about it while you are there. I had it and it turned out to be a symptom of perimenopause. (I mean mid cycle bleeding, not just irregular periods.)

Im 28 so hopefully not menopause! Yeah, i will mention it to them. Im hoping its not anything

I've had this before and it was linked to a urinary infection. And also had it without, which fits with my perimenopause symptoms. Definitely worth checking out

My DD is almost 16 weeks, two periods following her birth were RIDICULOUSLY heavy, although 2nd not quite as bad as the 1st. But ive never had this before. It happened again this afternoon.

I've had this. Try not to worry. Although do get it checked out.

I went to see my GP who sent me for a smear and then an internal scan. Smear came back normal. Scan showed a polyp in my uterus which is most likely causing the bleed.

Could be polyps. Usually harmless.
