Does anyone know the first step to starting a claim for sick pay? I’ve never done it before.
I work a 6 hour minimum contract in retail. Minimum wage. Sometimes more hours, but averages out about 6 hours a week at moment.
I’m not going into work from tomorrow as 2 people in our family have a fever from this morning
(son’s best friend got back from a term time holiday in Spain about 1.5 weeks ago so presuming it may be coronavirus symptoms).
My husband is self employed, also low income.
Im assuming I won’t be given any sick pay as I earn less than £118 a week. Our tax credits are less than £50 a month since forever as they’re paying back an overpayment debt.
Entitled.to dot com doesn’t seem to have a specific sick pay application section.
