Spotting 10 weeks success stories

Hi really need some reassurance with positive stories. Had an early ultrasound at 9 weeks and doctor couldn't detect a heartbeat. I was told to come back in 2 weeks for a follow up scan. I don't have any other symptoms.... Today however, I'm 10+1 weeks and had dull period like cramping during the night. This morning I've spotted some red blood but not a lot. Should I be worried? I'm not feeling very hopeful as combined with my early scan, it doesn't bode wellSad
Anyone have a similar situation where it turned out OK?

Forgot to say, this is my second pregnancy and I had nothing like this happen in my first pregnancy.

I had plenty of bleeding until 12 weeks with both my pregnancies and everything was totally fine both times. They never knew why it happened! Wishing you all the best Flowers

Thank you x the waiting is the worst part I think. I guess I just have to be hopeful as there are so many things out of my control.

Yes, have hope! Worrying never changed an outcome, it just means potentially suffering twice. When are you due back in? Each time my bleeding started they had me straight in.

I've got an appointment next Tuesday. Scheduled in for another scan because he wasn't able to detect a heartbeat. I'm monitoring the bleeding and if it gets heavier... It's still very light... Im heading straight to A&E!!

Was your bleeding heavy or light?

They can detect a heartbeat in viable pregnancies from six weeks so to not find one at nine weeks doesn’t sound like positive news, especially coupled with the cramps and bleeding. Sorry OP Flowers.

I know... Im quite worried. Just spoke to my midwife and she said that if the bleeding isn't heavy, not to panic yet but if its more like a period I should go to A&E. Isthistrueor have you had a similar experience?

My spotting at 9 weeks is downstairs. She’s 4.5.

I had bleeding a few times around 12-16 weeks with my daughter. We rushed to the hospital each time. On the last visit they discovered a polyp. They removed it and there was no further bleeding. My daughter is now 12. Good luck.

The bleeding has just got heavierSad I think this might be it. I'm going to wait until the morning and go to the hospital for a scan and whatever else needs to be done. Thanks for sharing your experiencesDaffodil

I'm not in any pain so would rather see if it passes naturally.
