8 weeks and spotting

Hi there I’m completely new to this but I’ve had such a worrying time recently, since last Tuesday I had red blood a few spots on my panty liner, then it went to pinkish discharge when I wiped and now it’s more like a darkish pink discharge when I wipe but I have constant back pain in the middle and lower? This is my first pregnancy so I really don’t know what this is I’ve obviously been searching google and it’s saying all sorts, anybody else had this before?

Contact your local epu. You should be checked over.

I know you already know you should ideally go to your doctor or epu (which he would most likely send you too anyway)

I cant really say much other than my miscarriage was nothing like that, i had a little spotting and then a really really heavy period amount of blood with clotting for a few days. And that were it.

How many weeks are you? I remember reading online once that only light pink blood is spotting and so i freaked out when i saw dark blood. I had dark blood/light/brown all through out my first pregnancy and it was nothing but just normal bleeding with pregnancy.

Back pain can also be very normal in a pregnancy too, i suffered badly with it. But if i were you id go to your doctor to triple check. You know your body best so if it feels off then go get a check! But then again, anything can feel off if its the first time its happened during your pregnancy. Just remember that I went to my epu constantly when pregnant over any change that worried me.
