I have three narrow but tall windows in my lounge and bedroom. At the moment (in the bedroom) I have the cheapest Ikea blackout blinds but they're SO annoying. They clack against the wall as I like to sleep with the window open and when they roll up I have to stand on a chair to pull them down.
I live in a small terrace, one step up from a Coronation Street one, so although I was thinking of plantation style shutters as I like them, I think they might look a bit poncey?
Anyway - recommendations? I'd rather not have curtains but I'm not totally against them!
