Birthday contingency plans

We are supposed to be going to Disney world in may for DD's tenth birthday. Obviously that may not happen now and we are trying to figure out an alternative (potentially Christmas!). Looking for silver linings etc.

While DD is being amazingly grown up about it I want to make her birthday special while still being responsible and keep up the social distancing. Obviously, if we are on lockdown or in quarantine or ill all plans will be changed anyway.

I'm thinking of a birthday sleepover with a small number of friends, extra special food, afternoon tea, shit loads of crafts, pampering and enough sugar to keep them hyperactive for weeks.

Any suggestions as to what else I can do?

I think you’re going to have to cancel for the forseeable.

A sleepover is really not what is meant by self isolation, especially one with ‘pampering’, presuming you mean shared make up etc.
