I had a tooth near the back of my mouth that had root canal treatment a few years back, the tooth broke off a while back leaving a tiny fragment of tooth above the gum line but no pain or anything due to the lack of nerve I assume . My dentist offered to do a crown on a post recently and I had my first appointment yesterday where she prepared the tooth, took moulds and sealed it all off with a temporary coating ready for the crown in 3 weeks time....but I ate a bloody chewy sweet of my daughter's tonight without thinking (oops) and have eaten most of the temporary seal! I have no pain whatsoever, I am assuming due to the previous root canal work on the tiny little bit of tooth left? What do I do, will it be ok to Monday?
