corona: trip to Moscow

I was planning to go on a very pricey short trip to Moscow in April with my BFF but am now really reluctant for fear of being trapped there in quarantine or getting ill. My husband has recovered relatively recently from serious illness and I don't want to risk being separated from him if something goes wrong on the break. Also, I have a senior job and my work have 'strongly advised' to cancel all personal foreign travel in case the company runs into staffing problems.
But my friend is very gung ho to go because she thinks corona is over-egged. I don't want to upset her or fall out, but I really, really don't want to go. What would you do? I haven't yet said I don't want to go to her. And am I under an obligation to pay her costs if they can't be recouped?

I wouldn’t go to be honest. Too much risk of not being able to get back easily or the country being on lockdown while you’re there etc

I think it would a really bad idea to go, sorry. I'd personally rather lose money than end up trapped somewhere, or potentially very ill in another country.

I wouldn't go. If you travel against official advice, would your insurance cover your costs, especially if you got ill?

If youre 'planning to go', does that mean you havent booked yet? And therefore no travel insurance in place yet?

If you havent got travel insurance already, you wont get any now that covers covid19.
