Removing ads?

Is there a way of removing a persistent advert on MN? I keep getting one for the nspcc with a flashing emoji and a miserable boy. I really don't want to see it. Can anyone help please?

Install an adblock. You won't see any ads then.

I have Adblock Plus installed. No ads here.

Adblock plus is only for iPhones. I installed it and it didn't make any difference. I looked at the adblock website and yes, it says only for iPhones.
Any ideas for a Nokia Android? Thank you.

I have adblock installed on my ipad and still get adverts 🤔

It's become less and less effective - I used to get none and now MN particularly is full of them.

the only living boy, I also noticed that adblock has absolutely awful reviews on its site. An average of one star.

Use a different browser.
I've installed Brave on my android phone and now I can scroll MN ad-free.
