I'm not going to get a wink of sleep tonight. Anyone else?

The wind is howling, DH is snoring his lead off, DD is moaning in her sleep, and DS(3) has been coughing and coughing, and doing this alarming thing where he sounds like he's choking on his snot. He's been at it.since 11pm, he's had his inhaler, saline nasal spray, nothing else for it but he just can't get settled. My alarm is set for 5.20am to get me up for work. It's going to be a long day...

Forgot to add I'm awake because of the wind.. I offered to do a till shift at work so have to be up at 6.15. That's an improvement on a bakery shift when I have to be up at 4.50! 🤯 🤯 🤯 🤯 🤯

Same here. I've got 2 hours until my alarm goes off. Dreading the coming day and wondering what excuse I can use to wfh instead of having to go in the office.

I've been woken up by the foxes fighting in next door's garden. They are so loud and noisy......

Snoring and wind here too, plus I have what feels like tonsillitis on its way

I am still awake. Almost no point going to bed now.

I'm not sleeping too well atm. Bereavement in family on Thurs. Nice to know I'm not the only one awake. I've decamped to the spare room and can STILL hear my dh doing his injured warthog impersonation.

Woke up to an email that a colleague has Covid-19.

So am now lying here listening to the wind and wondering what the next few days and weeks will bring.

Still awake here too. Something happened with a family member yesterday out of the blue and it has hit very hard. I am worrying also what today will bring because in a few hours I will have no choice but to deal with it.
