Very late to the Derry girls party I know but just wondering as I'm almost finished series 2 if I like it what else should I watch? Something that's easy to watch please- getting over the flu so nothing too taxing in my brain !

Thanks in advanceSmile

thequeenbeyondthewall · 11/03/2020 19:36

Fleabag and you will deffo like drifters. It's like a female inbetweeners.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 11/03/2020 19:38

Fresh Meat is brilliant.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 11/03/2020 19:39

And Detectorists if you'd like some lovely gentle comedy.

thequeenbeyondthewall · 11/03/2020 19:39

I'm watching flea bag again now it's so funny

LetsSplashMummy · 11/03/2020 19:39

Ghosts on iPlayer is light and funny.

mogtheexcellent · 11/03/2020 20:09

What we do in the shadows and ghosts on iplayer. Also witless if it's still on there. These are my go to feeling ill programmes.

poorbuthappy · 11/03/2020 20:13

Not similar to Derry girls at all (which I loved ) but I am loving Modern Family at the moment

VinceTheMafiaBoss · 11/03/2020 21:11

Some Girls, its a BBC comedy but I'm not sure if its still on BBC iplayer

MadamBatty · 11/03/2020 21:14

2 doors down

Fivefootoffun · 11/03/2020 21:14

Lisa McGee who wrote Derry Girls also wrote London Irish (albeit I’ve heard mixed reports).

AgathaMystery · 11/03/2020 21:54

There is a new comedy - Soft Border Patrol I think?

ZoeandChandon · 11/03/2020 21:58

I’ve just watched both season of Derry Girls with my daughter (15), trying to find something we both liked is difficult, we both liked this though.
Previously we’ve watched Gilmore Girls, Russian Doll and now we’re watching How to get away with Murder. I also liked Suits.

Likethebattle · 12/03/2020 00:27

Two doors down is good, it’s bbc S it hand and it has some CF neighbours. I also like The Split abd although it’s a drama it draws you in.

Starksforthewin · 12/03/2020 00:38

Derry Girls is fantastic.

I want the writer to be locked away doing nothing other than producing more scripts for more series. 😀

Seetheprettysnowdrops · 12/03/2020 01:07

Friday Night Dinner (new series on its way soon)

Ghosts on iplayer

2 Doors Down on iplayer

puds11 · 12/03/2020 01:43

London Irish is painfully shit and massively plays into horrible stereotypes.

halfpasteleven · 12/03/2020 06:26

Some good suggestions here from you all, thank you very much.
Just finished Derry Girls season 2 and feel like Ive said goodbye to people I actually know and care about! I'll really miss this series!
Everything crossed for a series 3..
I actually wish it was a soap!
