Starting a new thread because the old one is full, I never thought when I started it that it would a) be moved to Classics and b) help so many people.

Muscular back pain is arrrrgggghhhh !!!!

Tried hot bath, hot water bottle, ibuprofen gel and pain killers every two hours .... and I have a date with a gorgeous guy in 12hrs 😩

2018SoFarSoGreat · 24/07/2020 02:54

@itsureis oh I know of back pain and can totally relate!

Let me take care of it for now. You lie back down, shut your eyes and rest. Try a pillow between your knees if side sleeping. It's ok to just relax into in. I've got you.

Here's to a great date!

itsureis · 24/07/2020 04:33

💓

Frownette · 24/07/2020 05:25

Enjoy your date! Hope the pain has subsided.

GenuineKlatchianPottery · 26/07/2020 00:02

Signing in for the night watch and ready to take care of any worries that need watching while you sleep.

ohheckhelpme · 26/07/2020 00:16

Yes please, soon to move house and been getting worked up, lots to do and just about losing my marbles. Thank you.

Frownette · 26/07/2020 00:20

Bit worried, relative has just been taken into hospital. Doubt I'll get much sleep tonight.

May go and get some cheese on toast.

So if anyone can parcel up worries and leave the bundle elsewhere I'd be grateful.

Givemeabreakpls · 26/07/2020 00:26

This is such a beautiful thread .

HannaYeah · 26/07/2020 03:07

I’m here! @Frownette I’ll put the bundle in one of my unpacked boxes for the night.

@ohheckhelpme you’re in good company as @frownette and I have both just moved. I’ll take your worries also.

Alienin · 26/07/2020 03:42

New neighbours appear to be night birds that missed the lesson on closing doors quietly in the early hours.

2018SoFarSoGreat · 26/07/2020 03:49

Sorry to hear that @Alienin. Can you try some earplugs? Or some calm sounds on your phone. I find wave noise works to focus me enough to get to sleep.

You just try to rest. I'll hold your worries and stress. I've got you.

Alienin · 26/07/2020 03:58

I’ve got rain on cbeebies radio. I have high hopes. Loud music playing, but thankfully that was just from a car parking up outside.

NeedsAdvicePlease11 · 26/07/2020 04:05

Hi i hope its okay to join in,
I have just had my third dc 4 months ago and have horrible PND. My dc1 fractured her arm today. I feel like i am crumbling today and i am just so anxious. I am so exhausted but also i can't sleep.

2018SoFarSoGreat · 26/07/2020 04:20

@NeedsAdvicePlease11 pnd is horrible. I hope you are getting some help with that so that you can enjoy your lovely little one, and also the poor booboo with the fracture.

That's a lot to hold, so give it to me for now. It can cozy up on the couch quietly while you sleep. Go on. Close your eyes. Shhhhh. I've got you now.

girlofthenorth · 26/07/2020 22:57

Hi everyone haven't been here for a while. I've been sleeping finally - it's taken me a while. I've got a manic day at work tomorrow but I'm sure I will sleep tonight so give me your worries and I will pop them under a pillow so you can sleep too .

girlofthenorth · 26/07/2020 22:59

Ps @NeedsAdvicePlease11 hope you're ok today and got some sleep. I've had PND and remember the long nights. I'll take some of the stain tonight for you. Just rest and close your eyes.

Frownette · 26/07/2020 23:01

I'm a bit resigned to having a late night, waiting for police but they had to shoot off to something else so it may be midnight before they arrive. Or later. Can someone sit in for me?!

Worriedmum999 · 26/07/2020 23:06

I can’t sleep Sad I’ve just had a huge row with my husband and banished him to the outside office. We have been isolating for 5 months to protect elderly parents so we can carry on helping them out. Just found out that my husband didn’t socially distance when he went round to see his mates the other day and went inside the house and the local shop. He didn’t tell me as he knew I’d be mad but I saw the shop payment on the card statement. I’ve gone mad. I now feel like I’ve over reacted as I’m sure the likelihood of catching anything is small but I’ve led a hard, difficult life for 5 months keeping everything going while he worked from home and he has now put everyone we love at risk. I’m so disappointed in him.

GenuineKlatchianPottery · 26/07/2020 23:09

Hi @Frownette
Hope you’re ok? I’m here if you want to drop any problems off for the night.
I’m in bed, but I doubt I’ll get to sleep for a while as the cat is having his Devil’s hour and is tearing round like a demon.

Frownette · 26/07/2020 23:13

@GenuineKlatchianPottery oh I love it when the cats do that, it's like they're possessed Grin

It's nothing serious, I reported an incident online so genuinely don't think they need to see me in person. I've already said what I wanted to say.

@Worriedmum999 it must have been a stressful time if you've been isolating for that long, go gentle with your husband and leave your troubles with us tonight

GenuineKlatchianPottery · 26/07/2020 23:14

@Worriedmum999 I’ve got you. Pop all that stress, anxiety and worries in a box and leave them here with me.
You rest now.

HannaYeah · 26/07/2020 23:45

I’m here too! Going to watch the sunset over the river with a few friends. I can take any worries along with me and throw them in the river for a swim.

Frownette · 27/07/2020 00:23

That sounds so much more enjoyable than sitting around waiting for late night visitors. I'm still waiting...

Are you not in the UK?

Good idea to bung any troubles in the river

NeedsAdvicePlease11 · 27/07/2020 00:47

@2018SoFarSoGreat & @girlofthenorth thank you for your support. Flowers I am still a little low but i am feeling a lot calmer tonight. Did lots of gardening so I'm exhasted and ready for bed.
Thank you to all the lovely night watchers this thread is a wonderful thread Flowers
