Cost to repoint a chimney

Anyone who's had a chimney repointed recently - what did it cost? Cost of everything, including scaffolding. I'm being quoted £2.5k per chimney!

No I didnt pay anywhere near that. Think it was about £600 and they didnt need scaffolding. They used ladders. Scaffolding is about £1800. I got a whole new roof for £6500 including scaffolding so that sounds a lot.

Mine was about 2k including scaffolding.

So it sounds like it might be about right. (Mydog If the chimney cost £600 and scaffolding would have been about £1800 then that's about the same for both....?)
