(Married) date night suggestions

Since having a baby in the summer, DH and I haven’t had a single night out just the two of us. Our fifth anniversary is coming up and we should probably go out! I fancy doing something a bit different than just dinner, something a tad more fun?

Does anyone have any suggestions? I know lots of couples make a point to have regular date nights so am hoping someone who’s not as rubbish as me can come up with something!

Thanks

Hey,

Could have lunch and go to the cinema or theatre
Comedy show and early dinner
Look on tripadvisor and air bnb for experiences in you area like something in the forest
Cooking lesson
Afternoon at a spa / aqua Sana twighlight experience
Tasting lunch or dinner menu
Go to a hotel that grows it's own food
A play or a lecture

Thanks cultkid I completely forgot Airbnb did experiences too and some of them are really good. I looked on tripadvisor but as I’m in Southampton they were all shore excursions for the cruise ships! A cooking lesson is also a great idea, fun and hopefully he’ll expand his culinary skills past an omelette

A gig?
A ghost hunt?
A midnight picnic on the seafront?

Depends if you want a bit 'special' or just fun. I often find the best nights are casual, bowling at a more grown up type venue like Lane 7 and some games of pool or something
