An Irish penny from the 30s in NE England
Some little blue bottles which are poison bottles apparently
A perfectly preserved solid silver Victorian spoon

A Victorian 22 carat gold wedding ring. It fitted so I had the inside engraved and used it when we got married.

Still going strong 25 years later.

Three horse shoes. We cleaned them up and painted them. Still in the garden 40+ years later.

@quimreaper that is a question where the only answer is voodoo cat hex so I rinsed it from my mind.

But in the cold light of 20 years later I still can't come up with a reasonable answer.

The spring base of a bed. Old fashioned squeaky sort. It's still there about two foot under the soil and grass as we couldn't be bothered to dig it up.

Also those tiny green plastic army men toys.

Bullets.

But nothing super exciting.

A biscuit tin with a dead parrot inside.

Railway sleepers - house had a railway line and tram very close to it . They’re building houses behind now (just fields that go on for a good twenty miles behind us) and been desperate to see if they’ll come up with anything interesting but nil so far .

Used to do mudlarking on the beach/river which was remarkably better - have something like 4 boxes of pottery and glass in the shed . Best included an iron (the solid metal ones), a glass handle for a knife I think (very fancy decorated), Victorian tiling and a corded telephone, complete with plug still attached . Did find a lovely hair slide too but suspected that was modern !

I went through an obsessive phase of watching mudlarking videos on YouTube
