Just completely flummoxed by someone saying they use 2 x bottles per week?!?

Squirt it down the toilets three or four times a week. Removes stains no problem.

Six toilets in this house, if I kept on top of bleaching them as often as I should which I don't I'd use a fair bit.
I went round and did every one this morning and had used well over half a bottle.
I also use it (very moderately) in my weekly white laundry wash. I soak all white school socks, polo shirts & school shirts in the sink with a squirt of bleach (several kids, all filthy buggers) before washing them.
Also soak dish cloths in it, but again - only a dash.

I also use spray bleach and water with a j-cloth to clean the outside of the loos and floor around it. I have boys and they miss far too often.

To thoroughly clean the kitchen with pure alcohol to kill because yes, I didn’t know what diseases or infections he might have, was the advice of a friend of mine, who is a doctor. As those little bottles can be quite expensive I used bleach. Are you healthcare professional as well?

Common brands like Cillit Bang, Flash, Jif liquid, Toilet Duck can contain bleach so it’s not just the traditional bottle.
I use Bar Keeper’s Friend as a scouring powder. Its active ingredient comes from rhubarb!
I use bleach sparingly down the toilet, for cleaning grout and tiles, in the washer for bleaching cleaning cloths.
DS’s hospital scrubs get a bleach/wash of their own and are treated like bio hazards!

Only really for cleaning the sink as it's plastic and stains, and in the odd occasion I wash the floor

When I lived at home as a teen we used to have to bleach the worktops everyday

We use a lot of bleach TBH. Not as much as we used to though ,as a similar thread on here made me realise not good for enviroment! Mainly sinks /toilets /taps / .

fishonabicycle · 09/03/2020 13:15

Just round the toilets and basins/taps when I clean them properly (once a week).

ColourMyDreams · 09/03/2020 13:16

I use it for just about everything, including wiping the paintwork down and i use it when washing white's.
When i've mopped the floors with it, i usually throw the water over the patio due to the dog urinating on it.

I squirt it down the loo every day, squirt it round the kitchen sink. Use kitchen and bathroom spray everywhere else.

Toilets, shower cubicle, plug holes, kitchen sink and draining board, on windowsills where we have a bit of a damp problem and black mould accumulates.

A bottle lasts about a month.

I certainly wouldn't be bleaching anything I ate off. My dm used to bleach cups and I had to rewash them about three times before I stopped being able to taste it in my coffee Envy < not envy.

I use floor cleaner for floors, beeswax polish for wooden furniture and hot soapy water for everything else (which is not much)
