how does your garden grow?

I've barely been in the garden this year as it's been so miserable but it's sunny at last so I had a quick walk round.

We've got more frog spawn than water in the pond - normally it covers half the surface but now the whole surface is covered. Tulips are in bud, daffodils are everywhere and the willow is covered in catkins. The acers are in leaf and the magnolia, rowans and alders are in bud too.

How is your garden growing now?

We’ve got more frogspawn than pond too. And the frogs are still shagging.

Came on expecting a euphemism...

No frogspawn here yet, despite stocking the pondwith tadpoles last year. Everything soggy and muddy. Crocuses up but not open yet, periwinkle has a couple of flowers. Thats it. Central Scotland

The tulip leaves have sprouted, hyacinths are flowering, jasmine in the little greenhouse are coming out so they are coming into the house, some fritillaries have flowered, loads still in bud.
Weeds have also started.......

Spent the day wrestling with the Blackberries. Half done, should finish tomorrow.

Big buds on my marigolds which didn't die back over the winter - they are definitely about to bloom. Lots of primroses in bloom too. Snowdrops still going strong, daffodils about to open

We haven't had crocuses or snowdrops come up this year, perhaps the squirrels had them.
