As it’s international women’s day and I can’t see a thread about it, let’s celebrate some women in our lives. Famous or not.

My sister: who is smart and funny and always has sound advice when I need it.

My friend: the kind of person everyone needs. Will be sad with you, happy with you, pissed with you, and never judges.

Rihanna: enough said.

The woman who runs the charity that got me out of homelessness and prostitution. She's amazing. She's been doing it for 30 ish years and never stops. She helps hundreds of women. She's the reason I'm still alive and have my daughter and a decent life.
