Mattress topper for a super king

Looking for a decent, good quality mattress topper for our superking bed that will last but is also good value for money.

I've recently lost a lot of weight and now find my mattress really uncomfortable and making my hips ache and feel quite tender. I don't want to replace the actual mattress because it's fine. Cost a lot in money and is only about 3 years old. There's loads of life left in it.

However I'm Finding it hard to find a superking matress topper! Let alone what type, memory foam or what not!

Can anyone recommend?

I know my parents have one from the white company they like but if you're looking for a memory foam type thing at a better price you can get them on amazon!

I have a super king bed too, I've tried all sorts of toppers over the years, the biggest disaster was a very expensive feather and down one that had to be shaken up each day.

I've now settled on a cheap memory foam one from Amazon, with a microfibre corner strapped one on top, to prevent overheating. Had these on for some time now and it works well.

I just bought this one from Amazon and it's lovely, really comfortable.

Does it give extra support to a mattress that is currently too soft?
Or will it just make it seem softer?

We have a memo foam mattress from Ikea with TUSSÖY toppers on our super king.
I had hip problems, left over from SPD when I was pregnant, this combo is so comfortable. I get a really good nights sleep.

Devon Duvet's wool toppers are wonderful. They aren't cheap, but will keep you cool in summer, warm in winter, and are like sleeping on a cloud. I much prefer them to lying on something synthetic.
