Anyone just fancy a chat? No serious subject matter here, as I've had half a bottle of red and am at a loose end.

I'll start - has everyone had a nice day?

ok - I'll answer

Yes - had a lovely day - took my 3 'kids' into town and got the youngest one a brand new bank account and then took them all to maccy d's - maybe shouldn't mention this on mumsnet!

Sounds lovely! I went out last night, had 4 double gins and I've been so hungover all day and don't know why! Been out today. Came home and had a nap. Ordered pizza and a load of sides. Now comes the guilt as I'm on SW 🙈 currently waiting for the husband to cone home after being at a conference for days!

mytypeonpaper · 07/03/2020 21:11

What kind of red are you drinking?

H1978 · 07/03/2020 21:28

On our way home now after a lovely family day, a walk round a gorgeous nature reserve and then a mooch around metro shopping centre, it was practically empty!

@mytypeonpaper - haha - it was a Cote de Rhone - and very nice too! No hangover today which is always a bonus.

Start your SW on Monday and don't feel too guilty, it was the weekend after all.

I know what you mean about empty @H1978 - went to Aldi with DD today for week's shop and we spotted at least 6 empty spaces in car park (extremely unusual where we live).

I keep thinking that the people can't stay away forever as surely they will become bored eventually. In fairness there was plenty of loo roll, so the panic buying hasn't set in properly yet...

True I think people are just being cautious but once the panic dies down I think things will return to normal, the jump in numbers is just a bit shocking at the moment
