Cold and boring

ClashCityRocker · 07/03/2020 19:32

I hope so, I'm off in May.

ProfessorHasturLaVista · 07/03/2020 19:34

I did it in Feb and it was fabulous. Tbf we had a rare window of three days when the torrential rain was infrequent but it was quiet-ish while still buzzing. Parking was relatively easy and the beaches along the coast were near deserted.

Oh, just seen it’s a pisstake Grin
Spray some zoflora on your fish and chips, don’t press your nose right up to the cabinets in the Museum, you’ll be reet.

Love Whitby, but I'm local so it's a day trip for us. Scarborough is a hotbed of vice and new viruses though.

Craftycorvid · 07/03/2020 21:47

Scarborough? A hotbed of vice?

Must’ve been the same three days we had in the lakes then ..as we had fab , glorious weather too.

Yes definitely go for it

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 07/03/2020 21:55

Love Whitby, I'd go any time of year.

Walking wouldn't be so good as likely to be muddy and buses may not be running full service but with a car you could explore the area and Whitby itself is fabulous.

Can I come🤣

loutypips · 07/03/2020 22:05

If I win the lottery first thing I'd buy would be a house in/near Whitby.
It's one of my favourite places in the UK. Bit cold for a southerner like me though!

rslsys · 07/03/2020 22:06

Best fish & chips available, hot and cold running Goths/Steampunk - what's not to like?

Lynda07 · 07/03/2020 22:09

Yes, do go. It sounds lovely.

WelcomeToTheMountaintop · 07/03/2020 22:14

Nanalisa60 · 07/03/2020 22:32
