Parking fucking eye

How do I prove I paid for parking when I paid in cash and binned the ticket once it was no longer needed?

I don't know, but they are utter bastards and ignore all communications with evidence anyway.
I am obsessive about photographing and saving tickets now.

I will be from now on. Oh aaaaaaaaargh

They are bastards. Parasitic and completely arbitrary.

I could suggest a new mission statement

Parking Eye: screwing honest drivers since 1878

I made judicious use of the fact that the parking company fails to send out their missives by recorded delivery. I didn't receive the first one, only the second by which time the fine had tripled.

By that point I waited for the 'debt' to be passed on and communicated with that company - in writing, by recorded delivery - and they too failed to send their demands for payment by recorded delivery and refused to send the first notification from their client, I would have paid that initial fine - 20mins overdue is 20mins...

I kept all my letters - and theirs - and I'm waiting for them to take me to court.

Ooh you're brave!

They won't do it, Stealth, it's not me being brave - their 'client' failed to make sure that I was notified. I can provide proof of all of my communication; they can't - and as they failed to send me the notification I asked for (and would have paid), they can't legitimately compel me to pay the later amount or the souped-up amount either.

I had a letter from a 'solicitor' (they're not, I checked), giving me my 'last opportunity to pay'. I had that three letters ago from the ambulance-chaser company.

They'll lose this one. I don't know if you've been on MSE but they have a section about parking charges and what to do, it's really comprehensive.
