What's the kids programme with bird creatures on a submarine?

This is bugging me so much. Daughter wants to watch this programme, think it's for young kids, got 4 little cartoon creatures which are mum and dad and 2 children. They have a little birdy thing and live on a submarine I think. There is always a sketch where its real life. What's it called?? I've googled all sorts but nothing.

Why would a bird live on a submarine? If you could fly, you'd secretly want to swim, is that it? Is it a message in existential angst and how are desires must remain unfulfilled?

Ducks can fly and swim.
And walk on land.
Is the duck the most satisfied or most disillusioned animal? What can a duck aspire too?

TheLoveOfMoney · 07/03/2020 11:35

My desire is I'd rather watch Dangermouse and his little hamster sidekick. Or even trapdoor or Dungeons and Dragons. They all made perfect sense to me. Birds on submarines with a birdy pet do not.

Ducks have it just right don't they? Best of both worlds. Or the impossibility of ever completely fulfilling their potential in either.
I've never really moved on from my Hong Kong Fooey stage.
