I haven't posted one of these for a while so thought I'd do it this morning :)

I'm just drinking a cuppa before I do a bit of housework then get sorted for work. The washer's on already though so it can be hung out soonish.

Both girls are sock on still. They're spending the afternoon here with their dad while I work. They're looking forward to the hour between me leaving for work and him getting here though because they'll have the house to themselves!

Takeaway for tea for all four of us, when I get in (usually 5pm ish from this job). Not sure what to have. Swaying towards Indian but dd2 wouldn't eat it :(

What about you lot? Anything fun going on? :)

Sounds like a productive day for you lucysmam.
We are travelling to visit in laws as FIL is in hospital so we want to visit him.
DH birthday as well so cake is made and boxed ready to take with so MIL can join in.
Need to get bacon butties on the go as his breakfast treat and sort last minute bits to take on visit. Only away one night but DD’s will want to take a ton of stuff.
Bit worried about the sense in taking them to a hospital but I’d rather visit now whilst we can.
Curry for dinner taking it all with us.

RosieposiePuddingandPi · 07/03/2020 09:01

DH is away on training for the weekend so I'm taking the opportunity to have a peaceful morning with the DC.
DD is asleep on my lap and DS is snoozing under a blanket and watching CBeebies Grin
I think we're going into town in a bit to pick up some bits and bobs and go to the library and later we'll go for a long walk in the woods if the rain holds off.
I've already made the beds, tidied the kitchen and put a wash on (as DS gets up at the crack of dawn) so at least I've got a bit done!

FromTheAllotment · 07/03/2020 09:13

I was just thinking you’d been falling down on the job a bit lately lucysmam GrinGrin

DD is getting ready for swimming and DH is getting ready to take her. While they’re out DS will be watching cartoons while I pack to go stay with a friend for a night. We haven’t had a catch up in ages, I’m so excited Smile got Prosecco and snacks all ready to take! As soon as swimming is finished I’m out of here!

While I’m gone there will probably be lots of playmobil, more television, maybe some playing outside if the weather holds... don’t think they’ve got much planned. Not my circus not my monkeys, for tonight at least Grin

wendz86 · 07/03/2020 09:16

Typically got a busy day and I’m not feeling great (one swollen and sore tonsil ).

We are currently at swimming for dd2. Then we are going straight to ballet for her also .

Then small break before dance classes for dd1. Followed by party for dd2.

We will be watching greatest dancer final tonight .

Bluewavescrashing · 07/03/2020 09:16

Pancakes for breakfast
Clubs for DCs this morning (sport and music)
Taking them to a fun pool with slides this afternoon, then coffee and cake in the cafe.
Home for a film then tea and a quiet evening.

3littlemincemeatpies · 07/03/2020 09:19

Had a nice long lie with the DH Smile and now listening to him cook bacon while I enjoy my cup of tea in bed.

He’s also about to go and feed ponies (I’m not normally this lazy but its been a busy week) and then take our eldest daughter to her singing lesson.

We have a horse show tomorrow so I’m going to bake a cake whilst they are out to take with us and then we are going to have a day at the yard tack cleaning, washing etc.

Quick pit stop to shops and then a a curry and beer for tea.

It’s sounds pretty good as Saturdays go!! Smile

Sausage sandwiches are cooking at the moment. Then we are off to Crufts for the day. So excited. Then home to watch the rugby and steak for dinner.

AuntieMarys · 07/03/2020 09:21

Dh at work.
Just done a spin class. Having a cuppa.
I am sorting out my winter wardrobe this morning and then taking myself out for lunch. Alone. A gin may be drunk.
Then back to start my new hardback. With possibly another gin.

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 07/03/2020 09:32

Having a lie in after an enraging day yesterday. Get up in a bit, hoover and sweep, wander up the chippy for haggis at lunchtime. Weather's turned crap again so the beach is out. Last couple of days were gorgeous, went to Kielder and Jedburgh.

crumpledlinen · 07/03/2020 09:32

Watching a match in the cold at school, taking a massive bag to the charity shop and trying to think what to have for supper.....

HerRoyalCarbyLess · 07/03/2020 09:37

Washing sheets.
DS1 is washing the pots for me, and making me a cup of tea. He's a good un.

DD is playing pretend with the kitchen. She's being a chef, and telling the cat he's not doing a very good job Grin

DS2 is in a strop. He's sprawled out on a sofa shouting "it's not fair, my want to be warm" because he took his own slippers off Hmm
He's 4. He's an arse.

Whatsmynextmove · 07/03/2020 09:42

Football this morning for DS1 followed by a trip to visit my family, we have a get together this afternoon to watch rugby. Staying there tonight, dinner and drinks with my parents and then out for lunch tomorrow before we return home. Really looking forward to it. No housework, no cooking, much needed family time after my recent separation Smile

drinkingwineoutofamug · 07/03/2020 09:45

Going food shopping as long as all the idiots haven't cleared the shelves . Will be interesting.
Then house needs a tidy .
Boring usual Saturday for me.

GetTheSprinkles · 07/03/2020 09:46

Still in bed nursing DS1 (15w) and had quite a few night feeds last night so feeling sluggish
Have a family photoshoot booked for mid-day and slightly nervous as have never done anything like that befor, DS likes to spit up and DDog is coming along (he can be quite hyper).
Will spend the afternoon entertaining DS with his books/toys/my boob (!) and then heading to the airport to collect my DPs who are staying with us the week .
Lasagne and garlic bread for dinner :)

We3kingsoforientareandabump · 07/03/2020 09:49

Going to try and get some housework and ironing done. Then tonight I am taking my DM and DGM our for an early Mother's Day meal as my mother lives abroad and goes home on Sunday so she won't be here for Mother's Day.

That reminds me I will have to go to the shops to get her a card.

Frownette · 07/03/2020 10:01

I'm going to be craving jam roly poly with custard all day after the thread about it for breakfast

FiveGoMadInDorset · 07/03/2020 10:10

Going off in search of loo roll as we are running out, tried three supermarkets yesterday and no luck.

We’re meant to be going out for breakfast but DS was breathtakingly rude to me so turned around and came home

happypotamus · 07/03/2020 10:16

Nothing! DC have gone to stay with my parents, DH is out all day. I didn't really lie in, I seem to have lost the ability to do so, but did get up and then go back to bed for a bit. I have a list of things I should do (housework that never gets done because I prioritise the essentials and never get round to anything else), but I do also think it would probably be good for me to relax enjoy the peace and quiet, catch up on tv and reading. Everything has been very stressful for a while, so a break from everything might help

fairydustandpixies · 07/03/2020 10:28

Supposed to be going out to a 'naice place in a posh town' with a friend this afternoon with a load of his friends and family that I've never met before. Still hiding under my duvet trying to think of excuses not to go but also have to drag massively fat arse out of said duvet to go into town and buy a dress quickly in case I can't come up with an excuse. Might just wear my duvet, that fits me far better than any frock.

superisha · 07/03/2020 11:04

Going to Crufts!!
