Parental control app for the 10yr old phone

My daughter is getting a phone for her bday next month.

So many apps out there recommended for their safety, ie blocking porn / screen time etc.

However wondered if you have any experience or specific recommendations.

Of course I'll be taking her phone myself and checking it daily but I worry that things can be deleted.

We've used Qustodio but it keeps giving up on her Android phone and so will be moving to OurPact, when I have time to get my act together. Google Family Link is pretty good for a free service.

What sort of phone? My daughter has an iPhone so we’re all in the same family.
I’ve got the parental controls so tight she can’t even download a free app without asking. I’ve removed safari so she can’t be on the internet.

Google Family Link is good.

Steer clear of qustodio. I had it and couldn't get rid of the bloody thing from DS's phone so when there was apps he was allowed they were still blocked despite me closing the account and deleting my parental app. I couldn't delete from DS's phone because it recognised his was the child's phone and wouldn't let me.

Still undecided, a lot of the American ones are banned here as they allow access to messages sent and received and I think it's illegal here. I would like to know what apps she is using and for how long, search terms on safari. Netnanny winning up to yet x
