This is just withdrawal isn’t it?

Have been encouraged by GP to stop taking two meds (anti depressant and long term painkillers) and start taking another . Stopped painkiller 5 days ago, anti depressant last night, and will have a week before starting new tablet. Painkiller was codeine and I’d been taking it daily for eh, about 8 years for pelvic pain ... withdrawn off it very slowly .

I’ve felt relatively fine until today, I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus . I’ve no real cough or cold symptoms but I’m sore all over, shivering, nausea, dizzy, chills etc . Does codeine withdrawal take a few days to kick in or does it sound like I’ve also landed up with a viral thing ?

And no, I highly doubt it’s Coronavirus - I live in a tiny village in the highlands where I doubt anyone has had any chance of exposure as yet !!
