iPhone enthusiasts please assist!

My fantastic dinky iphone SE is nearing the end of its life and I'm overdue an upgrade

So do I hold out for what is mooted to be the Iphone SE2 (or whatever they're going to call it) or go for something like the XR?

I upgraded from a SE to a XR, definitely recommend although not sure what the spec of the new SE will be but I wanted a phone with a larger screen

I have an xr its fab especially the battery life

I’m in the same position OP. Just a bit too small - though I do a lot of stuff on iPad at home.

An XR is a much bigger phone, and I was extremely dubious about it for that reason. In actual fact - I love it! I really appreciate the extra screen space, and 99% of the time I don't notice the extra size. The only time I do is when I take it with me while running, but not everyone does that so might not be relevant. But please don't tell DH, he spent ages talking me into it, I was very resistant, and I don't want to admit he was right

XR is great I totally love mine

Thanks all! This is really helpful-I mainly want a bigger screen and like having a decent camera but other than that don't need anything more fancy

Holding out for se 2 I like the smaller screen, it's easier to hold. Anyone know when it due for release?

The SE 2/9 is due for release in March. It's now expected huge supply delays though.

I still have an iPhone 6+ and refuse to upgrade simply because it works a dream so can't really advise. However, on in iPhone note, a top top of writing a text or email etc... if you hold down the space bar on the on-screen keyboard, it turns into a cursor that you can move around the text like when you use a mouse. You heard it hear first... or second etc.

I had the SE. In January I was due an upgrade. I didn't want a massive phone or to pay a fortune per month on my contract. So I got the 8. I love it. Took a bit of getting used to the bigger phone but apart from that it's fine. I'm not bothered about having the latest one so I was happy to get the 8, and I got a good deal.
