I'm looking to do A Level Computer Science later this year but I want to do it as an online course rather than go to college, as I work shifts. Can't seem to find this subject anywhere, is there a reason? Does anyone know if this subject exists as a private candidate? Your help would be appreciated.

Hi, You can do Online A Levels with Learn Now

They do offer the A Level Computer Science course which you can study from home and then just sit the exams at a local centre. The awarding body is CIE and therefore you can sit exams for this qualification in June and November each year.

There may not be many A Levels specialising in this subject because there is a practical part involved. That being said, you can still take it as a private candidate. Learn Now will be your best bet as they offer the widest range of A Levels out there and this is what they specialise in.

Thanks everyone for coming back so quickly, that is a great help. I think I will probably be choosing Learn Now as I spoke to them on chat and they seem to know what they are talking about. Just glad to know I can do this from home.
