Refund on holiday let

Hi, looking for advice please. I've rented a tiny flat on Booking dot com for a few days holiday in the UK. I arrived late on Sunday and on Monday woke up to icy temperatures in the flat. Radiators cold, no hot water. Called local agent, who called owner. Ended up having to stay in 3 hours for plumber who had to replace part on boiler. It's ok now but it was a bit of a nuisance (I'm supposed to be relaxing!)
Should I ask for a small refund on my rental for the inconvenience? I paid upfront by BACS. If so, how much? And when? Before I leave tomorrow, or when I return the keys, or later? Please help me word my request too.

It wasn't a cheap rent to start with!
